You have more power as a consumer of AI then you know

Aliyah Gamble is a DevSecOps Engineer who sits at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and human collaboration. At Cox Automotive, she’s known for turning complex systems into seamless, people-centered experiences—whether that’s through AI-powered alert triage, DevSecOps automation, or fostering enterprise-wide learning around generative AI tools.

Beyond her day-to-day engineering work, Aliyah co-founded CG Inspiring Scholars Inc., a nonprofit that mentors and funds high school students pursuing STEM degrees. Her passion lies in bridging people and technology — helping others not only use tech, but understand it in ways that drive connection, security, and empowerment

Aliyah shares that over the past year there has been an increased push for AI integration into tools that impact our everyday lives. Whether it be productive platforms or creative tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and other embedded AI assistant tools. However, the way we interact with these tools can shape how we communicate, work, and even understand ourselves. The truth is AI is not magic and when we speak with a chatbot we are sharing sensitive data, personal identifiers, and behavioral patterns.

"During this talk I want to invite everyone to reflect and explore how we can embrace AI securely and ethically at every stage. Understanding that how we protect ourselves in the rise of AI starts with protecting our data."
