AI is reshaping every industry, but who's making the rules? Dwight's talk reveals why Black professionals must claim their seat at the AI governance table before biased algorithms further entrench historical inequities.
In this workshop, Miranda tackles the question, in a world increasingly shaped by AI, how do we ensure technology enhances—rather than detracts from—the human experience? This session explores the intersection of experience design and artificial intelligence, focusing on how to embed AI where it makes the most sense while keeping experiences empathetic, intuitive, and human-centered.
Through real-world examples of both misaligned and successful AI implementations, we’ll uncover the pitfalls of over-automation and discuss actionable strategies for designing AI systems that augment human capabilities without compromising trust or connection. Attendees will leave with a clear framework for balancing AI efficiencies with the human touch, empowering them to craft experiences that are not only innovative but also meaningful.
Whether you’re a designer, product manager, or business leader, this session will equip you with the insights and tools to create AI-powered experiences that truly serve people.
